5 WAYS TO MAKE A COMEBACK

There are different seasons and times in all our lives.  There are also phases. There are also moments of success, moments of actual or seeming failure.  No one likes to fail but sometimes we do it we presume we did.  It is quite unfortunate that sometimes when people fail or falter some really find it difficult to come back on their feet.  The saying that 'Failure is not final' is actually true. The truth of the matter is that success is made up of several times of failure.
When you find yourself on failure street, its not time to throw in the towel but rather certainly time to start over. ITS TIME FOR A COMEBACK!

I learnt recently that in the world of athletes there is what is called the Second Wind. According to Wikipedia, "Second wind is a phenomenon in distance running, such as marathons or road running (as well as other sports), whereby an athlete who is too out of breath and tired to continue suddenly finds the strength to press on at top performance with less exertion."

In a way we could say that this phenomenon is a COMEBACK.  At this point there's a new burst of energy.   Same goes for our life's journey.

I remember a season in my life when I was completely burned out and everyday seemed like a drab. I'd wake up,  get the kids off to school but had no zest to do anything.  I still kept a busy front but I knew nothing was happening until one day I said to myself LIFE IS SHORT SO BETTER MAXIMIZE IT NOW.  Oh well I said that,  I knew it was time to brace up and start walking but no drive.  I later found out that the only way to make a comeback was to take some definite and strategic steps! Sitting and wishing things will change never change anything!  So I decided

A.  To Pray
Prayer indeed changes things.  When you pray you receive inner peace that allows your mind and soul to download information and direction. Prayer connects you to the Masterplanner and aligns you to purpose,  destiny and God's will.

B.  To Reach Out
The worst thing to do when it seems like all isn't working is for you to isolate yourself.  The best thing to do is to reach out to others. Just as true as the saying that hurting people hurt others. I say helping people gets you the needed help.

C.  To Study
It is said that leaders are readers.  When you begin to study and build up your mind and your soul it's amazing how a new zest is kindled.  Now for me going back to study was pretty difficult and I can't really explain why but rather than give up I turned to motivational teachings.  Oh!  What an inspiration to the soul.  That actually drove me to begin to study. In other words, you can begin studying by either picking up a book to read, or listen to an inspirational message that will motivate you to get up and be on the go.

D.  To Network
Its a truism that no man is an island. One of the best ways to make a comeback and start all over again is to network with two sets of people: those in the field doing it and those who have eagle eyes and can only see possibilities!!

E.  Start Now
Tomorrow never ends!  Procrastination steals your future.  The more you procrastinate the more to self-talk yourself out of doing what you could or should be doing.  Once the first four tips are in place,  take a dive!  There is never really a perfect time or weather.  Don't also forget that there will be Naysayers and that's why to make a COMEBACK,  take a Dash! Dive in and begin!
