Most people are
not as horrible as they seem sometimes.
Often, its their insecurities playing
out in their conduct.
Be patient with them BUT protect your Joy!
Its interesting how, people you've never met before, who know nothing about you and just meet you can be sometimes so horrid for no just cause. At first I would react and resist their nastiness or try to pay them back in their own coin so they equally have a taste of their own medicine. I discovered that every time I do that, I let such people control the way I behave and to be honest I refuse to give anyone but the LORD that kind of power. I have found out that most insecure people, use nastiness, snobbishness, and rudeness as defenses to protect their own insecurities. So its a choice to protect your joy in spite of how others act or react!! Don't feel so bad either but let compassion for their weakness cause you to understand their frailty and KEEP WALKING!!
